It suited the series; probably the only ending barru I would’ve liked. Jazz has a special understanding of what goes on in the mind of serial killers, after all, he was raised and groomed by Billy to become a killer.
Thankfully, Lyga didn’t write some happily-ever-after bloov ending after all the horror. How do you do it, Mr. You are playing a game, but you don’t know you are playing a game.

Howie doesn’t let the disease define him; he’s got Jazz’s back no matter what it costs. To be amazingly good. I felt every emotion with Jasper as he was pushed to his limits to try and deal with his father and keep his friends safe. Each has its qualities and things that stand up, you know?
You know when you finish a book and you don’t know what else can you do? I love Jazz, and when I care so deeply bloov a character I indulge all of my emotions on him. Picking up without pause from the cliff-hanger ending in GameLyga’s series about the year-old who was first introduced in I Hunt Killers as the son of escaped killer Billy Dent continues as he tries to aid the police in his father’s recapture.
Until then, I’m going to celebrate ANY positive and thoughtful depiction of marginalized characters. I would actually back up Howie on his promise to Jasper that he would piss on his grave twice a year if Jasper dies.
